This training brings a unique and refreshing insight into Safety in Design compliance which not only creates a positive understanding and collaboration on design teams, but also reduces risk to practice, project and client.
It gives attendees a practical and professional confidence in the designer's duty under the legislation as well as the limits to that duty. Through examples and process descriptions, attendees will gain a newfound understanding and respect for the requirements and protection within the legislation, so they can communicate and manage their duty positively on any of their projects. As part of this, the legislated Safety in Design requirements will be presented as practical stage-by-stage actions which flows sensibly and easily within the professional design process and the larger project timeline. |

This legislation and process training is applicable to all construction industry design professionals - architects, interior designers, engineers, landscape architects and building designers. The case studies included cover various disciplines to enable understanding across the consultants team, however these are currently more heavily weighted towards architects and landscape architects.

She is a detailed thinker who looks for and finds the core truths in how we work, then uses these to uncover more opportunities for people to do good work together. Passionate about meaningful productivity and seeing her clients frustration with Safety in Design compliance a number of years ago, she carried out an in-depth study of the legislation and developed a process and training response which eliminates the frustration and reduces risk to practice, project and people.
